http://www.naeyc.org  National Association for the Education of Young Children  This is a comprehensive information resource for preschool educators.

http://www.ed.gov  The U.S. Department of Education has many resources available.

http://www.ed.gov/parents/earlychild/ready/preschool/preschool.pdf This pamphlet (from the Department of Education web site) was designed for parents but it is also a good overview of child development and ideas for activities that may be useful for teachers as well.

http://www.literacycenter.net/parents_teacher   The Literacy Center Network is a nonprofit organization that provides free literacy activities and printable materials for young children in multiple languages.

http://www.readtoday.net/  It is simple. If every parent teaches letters, numbers, colors, and shapes to their children before they enter Kindergarten, we will see an immediate impact on the world.  ReadToday's website has engaging, printable, reading activities for you to share with your children and/or students.
